Who is Byron Juniors World? Viral Whataburger Employee Fired After Praying Over Meals Sparks Online Uproar
Lutz got fired from Whataburger for allegedly 'talking about Jesus and spreading the gospel'.

A Whataburger employee went viral for his food reviews, showcasing his faith by praying over his meals and spreading the word of God with his video. However, after Byron Juniors World or Byron Lutz went viral, it was reported that the 17-year-old got fried from Whataburger, which immediately sparked online uproar. But who exactly is Byron, and how is he doing now following the sudden layoff from the burger chain?
Who is Byron Juniors World?
Byron Lutz, who goes by the name Byron Juniors World on TikTok and other social media platforms, has more than 600,000 followers on TikTok. The 17-year-old is known for his food reviews, and he ends each of his videos with a simple phrase: 'Jesus loves you'.
'The only thing that matters in the end is Jesus because he's the way, the truth, the life and the only way to heaven and our eternity is the most important thing,' he said.
In his videos, Byron blends food reviews, prayer, words of encouragement, and spreading the word of God to his viewers. He says his mission is to inspire others and share his faith.
Byron is from South Carolina and is a Lexington native. He said that he has lived in the area his whole life, and recently found a church family that feels like home, News19 reported.
Byron Goes Viral, But Was Fired From Whataburger
The Lexington native was previously a night-shift employee at Whataburger. A video of him reviewing a Whataburger sandwich went viral, but he was subsequently fired from the burger chain. His video has since garnered more than 11 million views.

During the viral food review, a colleague interrupted the filming to accuse the 17-year-old of 'lying' to his viewers. The colleague further alleged that another employee was going to 'beat your a**' for 'eating other people's food', adding that he was 'squatted down like some creepy little hobo'. The colleague also told him to 'stop smoking crack, Byron'.
Byron attempted to continue his food review, but, visibly uncomfortable, he chose to end the video before he could finish the meal. As was his custom, the 17-year-old concluded the broadcast with the phrase, 'Jesus loves you'.
Soon after the video went viral, Byron uploaded another video saying he got fired from the burger chain.
Whataburger provided a statement to News19 that read, 'Whataburger is built on respect, including respect for the religious liberty and personal freedoms of our more than 51,000 team members. At the same time, all employees must comply with the basic and clearly spelled out company policies that govern our workplace'.
The company, however, did not respond to follow-up questions about the specific policy that the 17-year-old violated.
Byron Alleged That His Whataburger Colleagues Threatened Him
Meanwhile, in his video, Byron said that there are four or five employees who were threatening him at Whataburger.

He said, 'I'm not gonna say their names for legal reasons, but they have been threatening me and threatening to shoot me and threatening to basically assassinate me the same way Charlie Kirk was assassinated. And told me to invest in a coffin'.
Byron also shared that these colleagues called HR on him for 'talking about Jesus and spreading the gospel' and said that he has more videos of him reviewing the food in Whataburger, but will refrain from posting them.
'I probably will not post any more of the Whataburger videos. I will probably. I'm just gonna let it go. After today and just lay it at the foot of the cross and let Jesus handle it, because I know Jesus has a plan,' he said.
Byron also posted a screenshot of a message on his TikTok story. He alleges that the message was from a Whataburger manager. The text called him a liar that there are plenty of people who didn't like the 17-year-old.

They also threatened to report his account, 'You're just a stupid little fat C***, how dare you post about the employees in the workers there, we're gonna report your f****** account for being a stupid Iying b****'. The text also said that Byron will get what's coming for him.
Byron's New Job and GoFundMe
After going viral and being laid off from Whataburger, Byron is now working at Highway 55 and Sonic. His story has caught the attention of a local business owner. Jay Webb, a franchise owner of Highway 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries, said he was drawn to Lutz's energy and faith.
He has also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help him purchase his first car and move into his own place. He has already raised $31,543 (£23,650) towards his $35,000 (£26,250) goal.
