Amy Bradley Is Missing
New evidence and witness claims suggest Amy Bradley might still be alive, reigniting hope and questions about her long-unsolved case.

Reality star and aspiring lawyer Kim Kardashian has joined the public call for justice in the long-unsolved disappearance of Amy Bradley, a 23-year-old American woman who vanished from a cruise ship in 1998.

The renewed attention comes after Netflix released a chilling three-part documentary titled Amy Bradley Is Missing, which has gripped audiences and prompted widespread speculation online.

Kardashian, a true crime junkie and known for using her platform to advocate for criminal justice reform, took to Instagram earlier this week to share her reaction to the docuseries. 'This story is mind blowing,' she wrote, encouraging her followers to watch the documentary and help 'find Amy.'

The Disappearance of Amy Bradley

Amy Lynn Bradley went missing in the early hours of March 23, 1998, while on a Royal Caribbean cruise with her parents, Ron and Iva, and younger brother Brad. The family had set off on what was meant to be a relaxing Caribbean holiday shortly after Amy graduated from university.

According to reports, after spending the night dancing at a nightclub on board the Rhapsody of the Seas, Amy returned to her cabin around 3:35 am. Her father recalls seeing her on the balcony just after 5:30 am. But by 6:15 am, she had vanished. There was no sign of forced entry, no note, and no personal items missing.

Despite a large-scale search involving helicopters, divers and the local coast guard near the island of Curaçao, no trace of Amy was ever found. Henry Vrutaal, a former coast guard official interviewed in the series, called it 'the biggest search' they had ever conducted. 'Not even a piece of clothing, nothing,' he said.

Netflix Series Rekindles Debate

The Netflix documentary, released on July 16, has brought the case to a new generation of viewers. The film lays out multiple theories, from accidental fall to suicide, abduction, or even trafficking. Yet none have ever been proven.

FBI agent Victor McCollum, who worked on the case, said there was 'no direct evidence she jumped.' The family has always rejected the idea that Amy took her own life. The positioning of the ship, sea currents and wave height led experts to believe that if Amy had fallen, her body would have been recovered. It never was.

Footage and interviews in the documentary also highlight potential leads that were never fully pursued. One segment shows video of Amy dancing with a crew band member known as 'Yellow.' Another passenger later claimed to have seen the pair in a glass elevator between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., just before Amy vanished. 'I kinda got a bad vibe,' she says in the film. 'Immediately, I thought, 'Where's Amy?''

Kim Kardashian's Influence

Kardashian's involvement is already drawing more eyes to the case. Known for previous advocacy in wrongful conviction cases and her continued legal studies, Kim has a history of turning headlines into real momentum.

With over 360 million followers on Instagram alone, her post is helping bring renewed attention to a mystery that had largely faded from mainstream view.

'This needs to be talked about,' Kardashian said. 'We need to find Amy.'

Still No Closure For the Family

In the years since Amy's disappearance, there have been reported sightings of her in Curaçao, including one from a Canadian scuba diver who claimed to have seen her with two men months after she vanished.

However, none of these sightings have ever been confirmed or translated into a lead. The FBI maintains that there is no concrete evidence that she was abducted, and no charges have ever been filed against anyone in connection with the case.

The family, however, has never stopped hoping. The documentary ends with a quiet but powerful appeal: that someone, somewhere, might still come forward with the truth.
