A 13-year-old boy has admitted murdering Christopher John Barry at the Old Bailey today (6 March).

Barry, also known as Jack, was knifed to death after an argument with a group of teenagers at the entrance of a block of flats in the Edmonton neighbourhood of Enfield, north London.

The 53-year-old was with a woman when two of the youths followed him into the block, where he was stabbed.

It was believed the gang was trying to get into a party at one of the properties in the block of flats.
