Jose Mourinho has been unveiled as the new manager of Chelsea, returning for a second spell in charge of the club where he won two Premier League titles.

The 50-year-old Portuguese manager returns to Stamford Bridge on a four-year contract after a trophy-less season at Real Madrid in which his relationship with the fans and the Spanish media broke down. But 'the special one' as he is known by the English press is adored by Blues fans, after securing the club their first league title in 50 years, also winning an FA Cup and two League Cups in his first three-year spell.

Mourinho replaces interim manager Rafa Benitez, who managed to win the Europa League and secure an automatic place in next season's Champions League during his 7 month-spell in charge. He will be officially presented in a press conference at Stamford Bridge on 10 June.
