After teaming up with hip-hop heavyweights including Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne on DJ Khaled's track I'm the One, it appears that Justin Bieber may have caught the rapping bug. The 23-year-old pop sensation is showing off his skills on Diplo's new song Bank Roll.

Although he isn't dropping any serious bars, the Sorry hitmaker is stepping out of his comfort zone of bubblegum pop. He raps the line: "If you don't smoke weed, baby, so what / If you drank too much, baby, throw up, then po' up / It's your first time, you need to grow up. Got dinner reservations at BOA / Yeah, the cameras always flashing when we show up / Gotta look fly, 'cause you know they're taking photos."

This is not the first time the singer and budding lyricist has showcased his versatility. The Canadian star sent fans into a frenzy when he freestyled over Kanye West's Otis during an appearance on Power106 in November 2011.

Fans may recall that Bieber teamed up with Diplo when he decided to change his sound and the hits Where Are Ü Now and Cold Water were born.

Earlier in May Bieber travelled to India for the first time in eight years where he performed a rare concert in support of his Grammy-nominated album, which was released in 2015.
