Andrew's Ex-Wife Sarah Ferguson Received Treatment at Facility After Epstein Friendship Was Exposed
Inside Sarah Ferguson's wellness retreat and her connection to the Epstein files

Sarah Ferguson has not been spotted in public in recent weeks. Her absence from the public eye has fuelled speculation about her whereabouts after her name appeared in the Epstein files. Ferguson's ex-husband, formerly known as His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, was also mentioned multiple times in the newly released documents.
Ferguson and Andrew have both stayed silent on the latest revelations about their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. In the past, Ferguson openly supported her ex-husband, but after his recent arrest on suspicion of misconduct, the former Duchess of York chose to remain out of sight. New reports now suggest why she has stepped away from public life.
Where Was Sarah Ferguson?
According to the Daily Mail, Ferguson sought mental health treatment at the Paracelsus Recovery centre in Zurich, Switzerland. The mother of two is said to have checked herself in just after Christmas and stayed for around a month. A source claimed Ferguson has long supported the facility and has appeared in some of its promotional material.
'She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she'll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she's feeling at her most vulnerable,' the source said.
Hello! magazine reported that a stay at Paracelsus Recovery can cost about £13,000 per day. The clinic's chief executive, Jan Gerber, has described its model as deliberately informal and home-like, with clients sometimes invited to dinner in his family home to help them feel more relaxed.
Last year, the clinic's chief executive, Jan Gerber, told the publication that they have an open-door policy. People from all walks of life can check into the facility and mingle with each other. What makes the clinic the perfect choice for those in need of help is the fact that they provide guests a homey atmosphere.
'The space isn't curated to show off. Many of my clients are wealthy founders, and we invite them to dinner in our home to help them feel welcomed. Sometimes Jil cooks for clients, and we recreate the feeling of a family home, which helps to relax and reset the nervous system and calm clients down,' Gerber said.
Sarah Ferguson Mentioned in Epstein Files
Earlier this month, some of Ferguson's emails to Epstein were made public. Several messages were sent after Epstein had already been convicted for soliciting a minor. In some of the emails, Ferguson mentioned her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and at one point shared their whereabouts with him.
Another email shows Ferguson asking Epstein when he would employ her. In a 2010 message, she wrote that she 'worships' Andrew and said she knew Epstein felt the same way about her ex-husband.
Following the release of the Epstein files, Andrew was arrested by authorities on suspicion of misconduct and later released from custody. Before this, Andrew's older brother, King Charles, said in a brief statement that the law must take its course and that he would not comment further on Andrew. Andrew has denied any wrongdoing, while acknowledging that he knew both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
