Donald Trump finds himself at the centre of the Epstein files once again. Reports confirm that FBI records of interviews with alleged victims in both the Trump and Jeffrey Epstein cases had been reported as missing, but have since been located and released by the Justice Department, with new information about the president now made public. Trump has denied all allegations, and the DOJ has stated the claims lack credibility for investigation.

An unidentified woman has accused Trump of sexually assaulting her when she was 13 years old. The woman also claimed that Trump was present at parties where minors were invited, and alleged that he raped her. It is unclear whether the alleged incident occurred once or multiple times.

Newly Released FBI Records Detail Allegations

TV journalist Don Lemon posted a video discussing Trump's alleged involvement, saying that the Justice Department had released three interviews tied to the sexual assault allegations against Trump that had reportedly been missing from the Epstein files. Analysts noted that interviews in which Trump's name was mentioned had not previously been released online.

Trump has denied the allegations. However, some social media users have called for his impeachment, while others have questioned why the claims did not surface more prominently before his return to the presidency. Some users turned to Grok for answers, asking whether the claims made by Lemon were accurate and whether Trump was genuinely implicated in the Epstein files. They also wanted to know if the president could be trusted given the contents of the newly released records.

'No credible evidence implicates Trump in any wrongdoing in the Epstein files. He appears in mentions of past social ties (1990s flights on Epstein's plane, domestic only, not to the island), a 2002 quote, and old FBI tips with unverified hearsay allegations of misconduct. The DOJ has stated those claims are false and lacked credibility for investigation,' Grok replied.

Trump Denies Connection to Epstein

According to court documents, Trump's accuser previously launched lawsuits against the president, but dropped them right before the 2016 elections. In the Epstein files, however, the unnamed woman detailed her alleged experiences, claiming that Trump and Epstein had gotten into an argument because it was Trump who had first been with her. The woman described her account in her own words within the files.

In 2018, Epstein wrote an email to journalist Michael Wolff asking for help to push back against a story about him allegedly abusing multiple women, in which he mentioned Trump's name. Epstein said he was wondering what Trump would do in his situation, and Wolff replied that Trump's approach was to deny and blame the media. That same year, Wolff wrote a book about Trump in which he depicted the president negatively. Trump was asked to comment on the recently released files and Wolff's claims, and he said he plans to sue the author.

'This guy Wolff was a writer, was conspiring with Epstein to do harm to me,' Trump said.

Trump continues to deny any wrongdoing, and has also claimed that he cut ties with Epstein well before the allegations against the disgraced financier became public.
