Is Hudson Williams Expecting a Baby? Heated Rivalry Star's Character Is 'Pregnant' In Viral TikTok Series
The TikTok pregnancy saga pushes fan involvement into a realm that even long‑term observers didn't predict.

Hudson Williams found himself fielding an unexpected kind of attention this week, after a viral TikTok storyline set in a fan‑made Sims universe showed his Heated Rivalry character, Shane Hollander, repeatedly pregnant in a sprawling, homemade continuation of the HBO series. The oddly charming sequence of videos — which has been circulating across TikTok at speed — has now prompted the main keyword search that no one saw coming: whether the actor himself is expecting.
The confusion would be absurd if it weren't also a testament to the scale of the show's fandom. Heated Rivalry, the drama about closeted rival hockey stars who fall reluctantly and spectacularly in love, arrived last autumn and almost immediately ignited a devoted audience that hasn't stopped expanding. They have dissected scenes frame by frame, spun theories out of stray glances and stitched together edits with a fervour that borders on evangelical. The TikTok pregnancy saga, however, pushes fan involvement into a realm that even long‑term observers didn't predict.
Part of the reason it has taken off is that the show leaves emotional space for fans to fill. Shane and Ilya Rozanov's relationship is built on tension, vulnerability and the kind of longing that invites embellishment. Viewers did what online fan communities always do. They wrote missing scenes. They illustrated alternate timelines. And, crucially for this latest wave of attention, they ventured into Mpreg — shorthand for "male pregnancy", a popular fan‑fiction genre where men can carry children.
Mpreg, Omegaverse Lore and Why It Latched Onto the Hudson Williams Fandom
In the world of Heated Rivalry fans, Mpreg is less an oddity than a natural extension of existing dynamics. From the very first episode, some viewers slotted Shane into the role of 'Omega,' borrowing from the sprawling Omegaverse mythos — a fictional system that categorises characters as Alphas, Betas or Omegas, with Omegas able to conceive. It is a trope with its own rules, politics and debates, and the fandom embraced it with startling speed.

The numbers tell the story. More than 700 pieces of fan fiction on Archive of Our Own now portray Shane as an Omega, a figure that surged after HBO aired the couple's earliest romantic breakthroughs. The groundwork was laid long before TikTok user Carter Tyra decided to take things one step further.
Tyra, known for elaborate Sims storytelling, introduced her version of Shane and Ilya last month. She built their digital home, set them up with a newborn son named Edward Jacob — an unmistakable nod to Twilight — and then delivered the moment that sent viewers spiralling: Shane staring down at a positive pregnancy test on Valentine's Day. The tone was ridiculous, affectionate and delivered without a hint of irony. The clip travelled fast.
The Viral Shane Hollander Pregnancy Saga Redefining Fan Creativity
Once the first video hit, Tyra kept the momentum going. Her episodes, each narrated over screenshots from The Sims 4, follow the couple through weddings, arguments, reconciliations and, most notably, multiple pregnancies. The entry that truly exploded depicts Shane going into labour the moment they return from a holiday. Tyra narrates that the couple can't reach the hospital in time; she cuts to a panicked cartoon Ilya hovering at Shane's side. After four hours, she presents their newborn daughter, Lily J. Hollander, named after Ilya's late mother.

It is melodrama performed with tenderness. Fans latched onto the series because it manages to be both ludicrous and deeply earnest, a blend that mirrors the emotional peaks of the original show. Later episodes swing between sweetness and conflict: Shane's hormonal mood swings, the pair debating retirement, birthdays, beach trips, domestic chaos. The camera always cuts discreetly away from the 'spicy moments,' though viewers know exactly what is implied.
One episode in particular has become a fandom favourite. After Shane is told by his doctor to rest, he cuts his hair. Ilya reacts with unfiltered desire. Tyra narrates that Shane warns him they can't have 'any hanky‑panky,' only for Ilya to demonstrate 'workarounds.' Another chapter delves into darker emotional territory, when Shane expresses a desire to get his tubes tied — possible only within the Mpreg universe — prompting a tense fight that ends with Tyra quipping that the pair 'didn't even kiss.'
There are nine episodes so far. Each upload is greeted by a chorus of viewers begging for the next instalment.
None of this is canon, of course. It is a manifestation of fan desire, creativity and, occasionally, chaos. Yet the commitment to detail blurs the lines for casual observers. Williams's name has surfaced across TikTok comment sections, mostly from confused onlookers who didn't realise the pregnancy storyline was confined to animations and fandom lore. The actor has said nothing, leaving the internet to amuse itself with the absurdity of its own creation.
