Kelly Osbourne's Cryptic 'Harming Someone' Message Fuels Split Claims as Engagement to Sid Wilson Is Reportedly Called Off
Sources claim the couple have decided to call off their engagement after months of private struggles

When Kelly Osbourne posted a deeply emotional message about 'harming someone who is clearly going through something,' fans quickly began connecting the dots. The cryptic words appeared online just as reports surfaced claiming her engagement to Sid Wilson had quietly come to an end.
Although neither of them has officially confirmed a break up, the timing of Kelly's statement has fuelled intense speculation that the relationship may have collapsed behind the scenes.
Sources claim the couple have decided to call off their engagement after months of private struggles, leaving fans wondering whether the message was a subtle response to both personal heartbreak and public scrutiny.
Emotional Message Amid Online Backlash
The cryptic statement appeared shortly after Kelly faced harsh criticism online following her appearance at the BRIT Awards. During the ceremony, she joined her mother Sharon Osbourne to accept a posthumous lifetime achievement award for her late father Ozzy Osbourne.
While the moment was meant to honour the legendary rocker, Kelly soon found herself targeted by negative comments about her appearance. The backlash prompted her to post a strongly worded message on Instagram.
She wrote, 'There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something.'
Kelly continued by criticising those who spread rumours and gossip about her struggles. 'Kicking me while I am down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.'
Her message did not directly mention her relationship with Wilson. However, the emotional tone and timing quickly led many fans to wonder whether the statement was connected to the reports that her engagement had ended.
She also admitted she is facing an extremely difficult period in her life.
'I am currently going through the hardest time in my life,' she wrote. 'I should not even have to defend myself. But I will not sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way.'
Reports Claim Engagement Has Been Called Off
Rumours about the couple's split first surfaced after reports from Daily Mail claimed the engagement had been quietly called off. According to insiders, the decision followed months of challenges in their relationship.
A source said, 'Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement.'
The insider explained that the couple attempted to work through their problems, especially because they share a young son together. However, the relationship reportedly struggled under growing emotional pressure.
'They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward,' the source claimed.
Neither Kelly nor Wilson has publicly confirmed the split, but the consistent reports have led many fans to believe the relationship may already be over.
A Relationship That Began as a Long Friendship
The reported break up has surprised many fans because Kelly and Wilson share a history that stretches back decades. The pair first met in 1999 when Wilson's band toured with the Ozzfest music festival, which was created by Kelly's parents.
Over the years, their friendship remained strong. It was not until 2022 that the relationship became romantic, when Kelly publicly shared affectionate posts about Wilson on social media.
Their relationship soon moved forward quickly. The couple welcomed their son, Sidney, and appeared to be building a stable family life.
In July 2025, Wilson proposed during an emotional moment connected to Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park. The proposal took place in front of family members and seemed to mark a joyful new chapter for the couple.
Because of that history, the recent reports of a break up have come as a shock to many followers of the Osbourne family.
