How to Watch BTS' 'ARIRANG' Comeback Concert Live Tomorrow, March 21, at Seoul's Gwanghwamun – UK Fans' Guide
The free Gwanghwamun concert streams on Netflix at 11 a.m. GMT Saturday, with sold-out London tour dates in July

BTS will perform their first live concert as a group in nearly four years on Saturday night at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square, and UK fans can watch every second of it from home. The free comeback show, tied to the release of their fifth studio album ARIRANG, streams live on Netflix at 11 a.m. GMT on 21 March.
All seven members, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, return to the stage after completing South Korea's mandatory military service.
The reunion album, ARIRANG, dropped today (20 March) across Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms, featuring 14 tracks with production from Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, JPEGMAFIA, Flume, Diplo, and Ryan Tedder.
What Time Does the Netflix Livestream Start in the UK?
The concert kicks off at 8 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) on Saturday, 21 March. That's 11 a.m. GMT for UK viewers. Netflix will carry the broadcast globally on all subscription plans, with no additional cost beyond a standard membership.
The one-hour performance takes place at the historic plaza beneath the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Hybe Corp., the parent company of BTS' management agency, said the venue was a deliberate choice. 'Considering the symbolic significance of the word Arirang, we've decided to hold a performance at Gwanghwamun, a place that represents Korea,' the company said.

Why the Album Is Named After Korea's Most Sacred Folk Song
The title is a cultural declaration. 'Arirang' is the Korean Peninsula's most treasured folk melody, passed down for centuries as an expression of shared longing and identity. For a group some critics have accused of leaning too far into Western pop, naming their comeback record after the song is a pointed reclaiming of roots.
Hybe said the album 'embodies the origin and identity of BTS.' Cultural critic Ha Jae-keun noted that performing at one of Korea's most symbolically charged public spaces added weight to that message. Pop culture commentator Jung Dukhyun said the decision showed a conviction that Korean traditional culture can connect with audiences worldwide.
Missed Out on Tour Tickets? Theatre Screenings Are Still Available
The 82-show Arirang World Tour begins on 9 April in Goyang, South Korea, and sold out across all dates within hours. Tickets to BTS' only confirmed UK shows, two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 6 and 7 July, are completely gone from primary sale.
But there's another route. BigHit Music announced that two tour dates will be screened live in cinemas across more than 75 countries through Fandango. The Goyang show on 11 April, and the Tokyo stop on 18 April will both be broadcast on the big screen, with tickets on sale now. The screenings feature the tour's 360-degree in-the-round stage, giving fans an immersive cinema alternative to a concert they couldn't attend in person.
What UK ARMY Need to Know This Weekend
For BTS' global fanbase, known as ARMY, the timeline is simple. ARIRANG is streaming now. Tomorrow's Netflix concert at 11 a.m. GMT is a one-shot live event. BTS' London dates on 6 and 7 July are their only UK appearances on the entire 34-city, 23-country tour.
Seoul's city government has thrown its full support behind the occasion. Gwanghwamun Square will be fully closed from Friday evening through Sunday morning, with media facades running across 10 screens, a K-pop-synchronised fountain show at Banpo Hangang Park, and extra subway trains operating after the concert ends.
A companion documentary, BTS: THE RETURN, arrives on Netflix on 27 March.
For over 100 million BTS fans worldwide, the wait is over. For UK ARMY, Saturday morning just became appointment viewing.
