When OnlyFans confirmed the death of its owner Leonid Radvinsky on 23 March 2026, public attention turned not only to the subscription-based content platform he had built, but to the woman he had kept largely out of the spotlight for nearly two decades. OnlyFans said in an emailed statement: 'We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer.' The company added that his family had requested privacy.

Radvinsky, who was born in Odesa and later emigrated to Chicago as a child, had an estimated net worth of £3.7 billion ($4.7 billion) at the time of his death, according to Forbes. He was 43. His passing has drawn renewed public curiosity about the woman who shared his private life — his wife, Katie Chudnovsky.

Who Is Katie Chudnovsky

Katie Chudnovsky is a lawyer by profession who has worked as a general counsel for an international tech firm. She and Leonid were not strangers when they married. The two had known each other since their university years, both having attended Northwestern University in Illinois. Their shared academic background at one of the United States' most prestigious institutions laid the foundation for what would become a nearly two-decade partnership.

Despite being married to one of the world's wealthiest and most secretive tech entrepreneurs, Chudnovsky maintained an equally low public profile. Very little about her early life or family background has been made available, reflecting the couple's deliberate choice to shield their personal lives from public attention.

A 2008 Chicago Wedding and a Family of Six

Leonid and Katie married in 2008 in a ceremony held in Chicago. Together, they went on to have four children, though their names and ages have not been made public. The family settled in Florida, where they lived quietly away from the media scrutiny that occasionally followed Radvinsky's business dealings.

In 2024, Radvinsky and his wife were both major public supporters of a £18.2 million ($23 million) grant programme for cancer research, announced at a gastrointestinal research foundation event — one of the rare occasions on which Katie appeared alongside her husband in any public-facing capacity. The donation carried particular weight following his death, given that cancer ultimately claimed his life.

The Empire He Built

Radvinsky acquired Fenix International Limited, the parent company of OnlyFans, in 2018 and served as its director and majority shareholder. The popularity of OnlyFans exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic as lockdowns drove creators and consumers online, turning the subscription-based platform into a mainstream source of income and entertainment globally.

OnlyFans had annual revenues in excess of £5.2 billion ($6.6 billion) as of November 2023, with revenues growing 19 per cent per year. Radvinsky received £373 million ($472 million) in dividends from the platform in 2023, up from £267 million ($338 million) and £224 million ($284 million) in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Radvinsky was paid £554 million ($701 million) by OnlyFans in 2024. Beyond OnlyFans, he also ran Leo, a venture capital fund he founded in 2009 that focuses primarily on technology investments.

Chudnovsky — now a widow and sole parent to four children — has been brought into public view for the first time after years of carefully guarded privacy.
