Quadruple Amputee Shooter Drove Around with Victim's Body Before Dumping Him in a Yard, Police Say
Despite his condition, police cite social media footage showing Webber's proficiency with firearms and driving as evidence of his capabilities

A chilling sequence of events in Maryland has led to the arrest of a well-known professional cornhole athlete following a fatal confrontation this week.
Authorities allege that after the shooting by the quadruple amputee athlete, the suspect fled the scene with the victim still in his vehicle. Detectives are piecing together how the dispute escalated into a cross-county flight before the deceased was abandoned.
New reports suggest the pro cornhole star accused of murdering his passenger inside a Tesla fired two rounds into the man's head before pleading with bystanders to help him abandon the remains.
Premeditated Malice and Firearms Charges
Authorities have officially charged 27-year-old Dayton Webber with first and second-degree murder, alleging he acted with 'deliberately premeditated malice' when killing Bradrick Wells, also 27, this past Sunday. Webber additionally faces a weapons charge for the suspected use of a firearm during a serious offence.
Chilling court records secured by the Daily Mail provide fresh information about the deadly encounter that occurred this Sunday in La Plata, Maryland.
Court papers submitted by Detective Mark Bigelow of the Charles County Sheriff's Office explain that the suspect picked up two colleagues in his white Tesla, joining Wells, who was already sitting in the front. While the group was travelling, a 'heated argument' broke out between the two men in the front.
'During the argument, Webber pulled a gun out and shot the victim twice in the head,' the detective added. After stopping the car, the accused reportedly turned to the two witnesses—noted as 'W1' and 'W2' in the report—and asked for assistance to 'pull Wells out the vehicle, which they refused.'
Body Abandoned in Residential Garden
The pair scrambled out of the Tesla and ran away, while Webber sped off with the deceased remaining in the passenger seat. The remains of the deceased were eventually located in a garden on Newport Church Road, situated in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Law enforcement tracked the suspect to a medical facility in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he is currently held pending his return to Charles County, Maryland.
Official court records are filled with typos, including multiple instances where Charles County is written as 'Chalres' and Bradrick Wells is referred to as 'Bradwick Webber'. The report states that bystanders alerted officers at 10:35 p.m. to explain the situation: the accused had lost his temper during the row, produced a firearm, and shot Wells twice with fatal consequences.
Witnesses Identify the Shooter
One witness, referred to as W2, informed officers that 'he heard a gun shot go off.' According to the report, 'W1 and W2 both positively identified Dayton Webber as the shooter and Bradrick Wells as the victim.'
At 12:41 a.m. on 23 March, a person living on Newport Church Road returned to their house and spotted 'a body on the side of the road' showing signs of 'blood on the head and upper body.' Emergency responders rushed to the location, where they confirmed the victim had passed away.
Questions Over Physical Capabilities
Digital jail records viewed by the Daily Mail indicate that the suspect is still being held at the Albermarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail in Virginia while his transfer is arranged. The investigation in southern Maryland has prompted many to ask how a person with no limbs was capable of steering a car while handling a weapon—and how he managed to remove the victim's remains from the car without help.
Diane Richardson, a representative for the Charles County Sheriff's Office, told the Daily Mail: 'We understand it's a reasonable question. Webber is a well-documented individual on the internet. He's on YouTube and social media platforms, there's a lot of stories of him handling firearms.'

Regarding the potential involvement of others, she noted that although it is 'early in the investigation, there is no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved.' She added that officers have seized the suspect's white Tesla SUV and moved it to a forensic laboratory for a thorough search.
From Medical Tragedy to Professional Sports
Reports indicate that the suspect lost all four limbs as an infant following a blood infection that resulted in sepsis. His arms were eventually amputated just above the elbow, allowing him to grip and manipulate objects between his upper limbs.
