Neo Langston speaks out about the ongoing murder case of Celeste Rivas d4vd/Instagram @d4vddd

D4vd's close friend and social media streamer, Neo Christopher Langston — better known to his followers by the handle NeoTheAsian on Twitch, speaks out publicly regarding the murder case of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose severely decomposed and decapitated remains were placed in two cadaver bags before being put inside the trunk of a Tesla.

The teenager was found six months ago in a Los Angeles impound lot on 8 September 2025 after having been missing for more than a year. The discovery was made when an employee noticed a foul smell coming from the vehicle.

Langston's name got associated with the case, given that he is a close friend of the 'Here With Me' singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, the owner of the black Tesla where Rivas was found.

Furthermore, photos found by internet sleuths and the hired private investigator of D4vd's rented mansion in Hollywood Hills, Steve Fischer, show that Langston was with D4vd and Rivas, indicating that the 23-year-old streamer knew the teenager.

Aside from speaking out about the case, Langston also called his former close friend, D4vd a 'd*ckhead' on his close friend's Instagram story. Here's what he said.

Neo Langston Speaks Out About Celeste Rivas' Case

On 22 January, Langston was arrested for failing to appear as a witness before a grand jury by the Helena Police Department at his mother's residence on Knight Street in Montana on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division.

After the arrest, in February, Langston appeared before the grand jury for only 30 to 40 minutes, reports indicated. The streamer was asked a few questions regarding the case, but he remained tight-lipped and walked away without comment in a video.

Now, the streamer is speaking out about the case via his Instagram story, saying it is now the 'best time to talk.'

See his statement here:

Langston shared a statement from his lawyer denying that their client was involved in the 'heinous crime' and said that he has been cooperating with law enforcement and 'will continue to assist the prosecution as needed.'

Langston also shared his own statement, which read: 'I understand due to my silence and the silence in general it leaves a void of information that everyone wants to fill. But at the end of the day this case isn't about me, it isn't about you, it's about getting justice for the victim and her family and I care a lot more about that then trying to fill that void because of public opinion (obviously wasn't doing my part at first but now I am).'

He added, 'I've stayed loyal to my mindset and I will continue to. I'm not publicly going to give any opinion or emotion about this case because I find it disrespectful and not my place to weigh in on it especially as it's still ongoing.

'I'm not gonna spam post to justify and express my feelings and thoughts for the internet, trying to satisfy people who have already made up their minds about me. In time, the record will speak for itself and I'm moving on with my life,' he said.

Langston Calls D4vd a 'D*ckhead'

While it appears that Langston's statement ended there, Los Angeles Magazine's journalist, Lauren Conlin, shared on X that the streamer also shared an Instagram story only intended for the 'close friends' feature on the platform.

In the story, Langston said he is 'legally fine in every way' and claimed that he has the 'receipts for things.' The message appeared to reference the ongoing Rivas investigation, although he did not name her directly nor mention D4vd.

In the following story, he expressed his deep disappointment in those who were quick to turn their backs on him—calling the loss of trust the 'worst part' of the entire ordeal. He didn't hold back regarding his former close friend, D4vd, explicitly labeling him a 'd*ckhead.'

He wrote: 'I think the worst part is that I've told so many people that I trust and I thought knew me as a person my side of things, all for that to be thrown out the fkin window as soon as I get arrested and they slap that d*ckheads name next to mine.'

He also moved to clarify the legal situation surrounding his recent arrest, insisting that the public narrative is incomplete. 'And for the record, the thing I was arrested for? I wasn't even charged. They never filed it, and my warrant was retracted because there is more to the story than what's on the news.'

Amid all of this, D4vd was recently named as a 'target' on an unsealed court document that has since circulated online.
