Hang Seng Index

Major Asian markets in red as global economic concerns and political issues impact investor sentiments.

Nikkei climbs 2.20 percent while Hang Seng gains 0.24 percent. KOSPI and Shanghai indices drop 0.53 and 0.77 percent.

Nikkei gains 0.94 percent while KOSPI drops 1.35 percent. Shares of Shanghai and Hang Seng indices slip 0.43 and 0.88 percent.

Nikkei gains 0.04 percent while KOSPI closes 0.23 percent up. Hang Seng and Shanghai indices also end trade at 1.20 and 0.37 percent higher.

Global economic concerns continue

Japanese GDP slows, raising concerns of recession

Nikkei down 0.80 percent while KOSPI falls 0.35 percent. Hang Seng and Shanghai indices gain 0.09 and 0.13 percent.

Eurozone and China in focus

Nikkei eases 0.03 percent while KOSPI and Hang Seng gain 0.49 and 0.63 percent respectively. Shanghai index falls 0.01 percent.

Nikkei average gains 0.14 percent on the reports of Obama's re-election while other markets remain cautious.

Improved US jobs data fails to cheer

Nikkei trades 0.29 percent lower while KOSPI is down 0.38 percent. Shanghai and Hang Seng index gain 0.60 and 1.33 percent.

Nikkei and KOSPI rise 0.99 percent and 0.93 percent respectively. Hang Seng index gains 1.27 percent while Shanghai index slips to 0.26 percent

Major Asian markets such as Nikkei, Shanghai and Hang Seng end higher but South Korea's KOSPI closes 0.71 percent down.

Nikkei average closed 0.98 percent higher while KOSPI was up 0.66 percent. Shanghai and Hang Seng gained 0.32 and 0.83 percent.

Nikkei and KOSPI gain 0.96 percent and 0.63 percent respectively. Hang Seng is up 0.51 percent while Shanghai slid 0.14 percent.

Bank of Japan's monitory stimulus plans fail to cheer Asian markets.

Nikkei gains 0.41 percent while KOSPI is up 0.70 percent. Shanghai and Hang Seng index rose to 0.25 and 0.10 percent respectively.

Nikkei average ended 0.04 percent lower while KOSPI closed flat at 1891.52. Shanghai and Hang Seng indices slid 0.35 and 0.16 percent

Major Asian indices trade lower on worries of weak corporate earnings.

Japan's Nikkei ends1.13 percent higher while KOSPI is up 0.55 percent. Hang Seng and Shanghai index gain 0.21percent and 0.68 percent.

Nikkei up 0.60 percent while KOSPI gains 0.06 percent. Shanghai and Hang Seng indices rise 0.47 and 0.15 percent.

Nikkei average closes 0.67 percent while KOSPI drops 0.67 percent. Shanghai and Hong Kong indices gain 0.07 percent and 0.31 percent.
